Is there a way to upgrade to the most recent version of Kodi on the droidplayer box. Not sure if this is an issue with the firmware on the droidplayer box?
Via the google play store, it states that the v17 (Krypton) is not compatible with the device. I have also downloaded the APK file directly from the Kodi site and tried to install that without success.
Hi, Kodi Krypton is only available on Android devices with version 5.1 and above. We are currently working on a linux/librelec firmware that you will be able to boot to from Android, and this will have Kodi 17 installed as default.
